In the interests of safety and security certain articles are prohibited from being taken onto the London Eye.
Below is guidance on what cannot be brought onto the London Eye. Please be aware this list is not exhaustive and is subject to change.

- Any item deemed to be a weapon (Knives, Explosives, guns, tasers, pepper sprays, toy or replica guns)
- Sharp objects or anything which may be considered a security risk including knives, penknives, scissors, corkscrews
- Fireworks and/or smoke bombs
- Illegal substances and/or legal highs
- Alcohol, unless provided on one of The London Eye’s VIP Experiences
- Skateboards, scooters, e-scooters, bikes and rollerblades
- Motorcycle helmets
- Drones
- Tripods and media equipment (unless agreed in advance with the London Eye Press Office team)
- Pets – except service animals
- Musical instruments unless previously approved through The London Eye’s Press/Marketing team.
- Large bags, suitcases, or rucksacks
- Banners, balloons, and flags
If such objects are found or declared they will be checked in and returned to you after your experience providing the item is legal in the UK.
There is a left luggage facility in the London Eye Ticket Office where large bags/suitcases can be stored at a charge of £5 per item. Please ensure that all luggage is collected by 7pm as an overnight charge of £25 applies.
